Reflections (7 September - 27 September, 2010)

7 September, 2010
Today, I watched some videos of students playing their instruments, and listened to the last of my classmates finish their assessments. Then, I finished the final reflection for the term and handed it in.

20 September, 2010
Today, we prepared for the first assessment by choosing group members. I wrote the names of my group members in my journal. Next, we were given a homework about the Major 7 and the Dominant 7, which is due tomorrow. Next, I will go to instrument class.

In instrument class, I practiced playing the Major 7 and Dominant 7 scales, and finished the homework. I will practice at home.

21 September, 2010
For today, we did a quiz about the chords, scales, and inversions. It took up a lot of time and I did not write the sharps/flats in the notes, which was why I got a bad score. Next, I will go to instrument class.

In instrument class, I practiced the Major 7 and Dominant 7 chords again. I will also practice them again.

27 September, 2010
Toady, I went with my group and we tried to decide on a song for next week's asssessment. We failed to decide before we went up for practice, and I only knew about a quarter of the lyrics. However, we have decided to do the song, Bad Day for the assessment. Next, I will go to instrument class.

In instrument class, I practiced the Major 7 inversions. I will practice more at home.
